Where resin bound surfacing can be installed.
Driveways
A single seamless surface your car sits on, with no joints to crack and no gravel to sweep back into place.
Patios and pool decks
A textured stone floor that stays cooler underfoot than dark concrete and drains instead of pooling.
Walkways and pool surrounds
Smooth enough for bare feet and strollers, laid to follow the curves of your existing paths.
Why it suits central Texas.
- 01
UV-stable aliphatic binder, chosen to hold its colour in the Texas sun.
- 02
Permeable. It is designed to drain over 600 litres per square metre per minute, about 14 gallons per square foot per minute, so water goes through the surface instead of across it.
- 03
Flexible composite. It flexes under impact instead of cracking like a rigid slab. Very large hail can still mark the surface.
- 04
Laid over existing concrete when the slab is sound, on a base built for expansive central Texas clay.
Water goes through it, not across it.
A concrete driveway sheds every drop toward your lawn, your foundation and the street. A resin bound surface takes the water down through the stone. This is a bucket of water poured onto a finished driveway.

Colour varies between batches. Confirm against a physical sample before you choose.

Questions we get asked.
Who does the installation?
TexLux Outdoors. Round Rock Resin handles the consultation, site evaluation, measurement and estimate. TexLux Outdoors provides the installation agreement, takes payment, manages the schedule and performs the work.
Can it go over my existing driveway?
In many cases, yes. Existing concrete can work as the base if it is sound. We look at the surface on the site visit, then decide the right preparation and installation approach.
How long does it last?
Resin bound surfacing is designed to give a long-lasting finish when it is installed and maintained correctly. Performance varies with the system, the surface underneath, the use it gets and the site conditions.
Will weeds grow through it?
The stone is bound in resin, so it does not behave like loose gravel where weeds push up through the surface. Like any outdoor surface, growth can start in windblown seed or organic material that settles on top. A rinse and a sweep deal with it.
What does it cost?
Price depends on the size of the area, the condition of the existing surface, the preparation needed and the system you choose. We measure on site and prepare a detailed estimate. The final scope, terms and installation agreement come from TexLux Outdoors.
Is the work guaranteed?
Warranty cover varies by system, application and site conditions. The product and workmanship warranty that applies is provided with your installation agreement from TexLux Outdoors.
